Alison's idea on getting people at D&D to contribute to a piece about Gaza doesn't seem to have got much of a response. nonetheless, for those intrigued by how theatre can respond to the Gaza crisis (the airstrikes may have stopped but it's surely naive to believe that the crisis is over), a group called Act for Awareness have some street theatre happening around London this weekend that we should perhaps stop by:

Act for Awareness is a group of four Middle Eastern women from various backgrounds who felt the need to create an effective platform to engage the public on the current humanitarian crisis in Gaza. While Gaza begins to slip from the media headlines and global consciousness, the need to continuously address the ever urgent and growing humanitarian crisis is critical. We are currently collaborating to produce various interventions in several public locations around London to raise awareness about Gaza..
Act for Awareness welcomes anyone interested in participating, from performing, to handing out informational flyers, to supporting us with your presence. We also welcome all of you to come watch us at any of the various locations listed below, we need your support!
